Emmanuel Dalle Mulle

Emmanuel Dalle Mulle is a Marie Curie Una4Career post-doctoral researcher at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he is finalising a project on majority-minority relations in interwar Western Europe. His first book, The Nationalism of the Rich: Discourses and Strategies of Separatist Parties in Catalonia, Flanders, Northern Italy and Scotland (Routledge 2017), won the 2018 University of Geneva Latsis Prize. Along with Davide Rodogno and Mona Bieling, he recently edited the volume Sovereignty, Nationalism and the Quest for Homogeneity in Interwar Europe (Bloomsbury Academics 2023).

He is specialised in the history and politics of nationalism in Europe throughout the 20th century. His research interests include the history of minorities, human rights and the welfare state.
