Europe’s Histories: The View from Geneva

The Fondation Pierre du Bois pour l’histoire du temps présent is delighted to announce the inaugural lecture of Professor Stella Ghervas titled “Europe’s Histories: The View from Geneva”. Professor Ghervas is newly appointed to the Pierre du Bois Chair “Europe and the World” at the Geneva Graduate Institute. The lecture will take place on Tuesday 29 September 2026, 18:30–20:00 at the Auditorium Ivan Pictet, Maison de la paix, Geneva. The lecture opens the 2026–2027 series of Pierre du Bois Public Lectures, which continues with Anthony Pagden (UCLA) on 20 October and David Armitage (Harvard) on 9 December.
