Anne-Sophie Bentz

Anne-Sophie is a Senior Lecturer in South Asian History at the University of Paris Cité. She obtained a doctor of history and international policy from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva (IHEID) and was awarded the Pierre du Bois Prize for her thesis entitled ‘Nationalism in Exile: Tibetan Refugees in India’ (PUF, 2010). Her research and numerous publications focus on theories of the nation and nationalism, international migration, refugees and diasporas, and international relations in Asia.
