Conference | New – 18-19 October 2023

The Annual Pierre du Bois Conference ‘Women and Children as Sites of Intervention, Past, Present, Future’ organized by the Graduate Institute in partnership with the Pierre du Bois Foundation took place at Maison de la Paix in Geneva from 18-19 October 2023 and was a great success. 2023 Pierre du Bois Prize

Amal Shahid won the Pierre du Bois Prize for her thesis

New | Graduation Ceremony -September, 2023

Amal Shahid’s PhD dissertation ‘The Political Economy of Famine Relief: Labour, Colonialism, and Public Works in

the North-Western Provinces of India, c. 1860-1920′  won the annual Pierre du Bois Prize awarded annually to the best doctoral thesis.
