Mariusz Lukasiewicz holds a B.Com in Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. In 2011 he obtained a M.A. in Global History from the University of Vienna, Austria. Mariusz is currently a PhD researcher in International History at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, focusing his research on the development of South Africa’s economic institutions during the mineral revolution of the late 19th century. His academic and professional interests include public administration, state-building, industrial economic development and social reform in Sub-Saharan Africa.
